A website for coaching classes that parents actually compare on

A parent choosing a coaching class opens four websites in four tabs and compares the same four things: which batch, what fee, what results, and can I speak to someone today. Most coaching websites answer none of those and lead with a founder photograph instead. This is for institutes willing to publish the comparison honestly, which since 2024 is also what the rules require.

What coaching institutes may no longer claim

A website for coaching classes was rewritten by regulation in 2024. The Central Consumer Protection Authority issued guidelines for the prevention of misleading advertisement in the coaching sector, and they reshape what a coaching website may say. The practices they target are exactly the ones the industry had normalised: claiming success rates or selection numbers without a verifiable basis, featuring a topper without disclosing which course that student actually took and whether it was free, and concealing course duration, fees or the real nature of what is being sold.

The practical consequence for a website is specific. If you display a rank-holder, you should state the course they took, its duration, and whether they paid for it. If you claim a selection count, you need a basis you could show if asked. Fees and course duration should be stated rather than hidden behind an enquiry form. And consent from the student matters before their name, photograph or rank goes on your page.

We build every website for coaching classes to that standard by default, which turns out to be a competitive advantage rather than a restriction. A results page that names the course each student took reads as credible precisely because the institutes around it are still publishing unattributed numbers.

The four pages parents actually open

01

Batch & schedule pages

A page per batch — target exam, start date, duration, timings, class size, and whether seats remain. Parents are comparing logistics against a school timetable and a commute before they consider anything else.

  • Per batch
  • Seats status
  • Timings first
02

Fee structure, published

The full fee stated, including what is covered, what is not, instalment options and the refund position. Hiding it behind a form loses the parent who is comparing four institutes in one evening.

  • Stated openly
  • Instalments
  • Refund policy
03

Results, attributed

Rank holders shown with the course taken, its duration, and whether it was a paid enrolment — as the CCPA guidance requires. Consent captured before publication. Credible because it is specific.

  • Course named
  • Consent captured
  • Verifiable
04

Admission enquiry capture

Demo class booking and enquiry forms that ask which exam and which class the student is in, so your counsellor opens the conversation already knowing what to offer. WhatsApp as the primary route.

  • Demo booking
  • Exam + class captured
  • WhatsApp-first

What changes when your students come from a smaller city

In a tier-2 or tier-3 town the decision is made by a parent on a shared phone, usually in the evening, and often in Hindi or Marathi rather than English. The pages that need translating are not the ones agencies usually translate: fee structure, refund policy and the demo booking instructions matter far more in the local language than the homepage tagline does.

Fee sensitivity is sharper and comparison is more direct. Where a metro parent may weigh convenience and brand, a parent in a district town is often comparing an absolute number against a household budget, and an instalment option stated plainly on the page converts better than any amount of persuasive copy. Concealing the figure until a counsellor calls reads as a trap rather than as lead capture.

Local proof beats national proof here. A student from the same town who got into a named state engineering or medical college carries more weight than an anonymous IIT selection count, because the parent can verify it through people they know. Results pages should therefore be organised by locality and by the colleges parents actually recognise.

Practically: the site must work on a low-end Android over a patchy connection, because that is the device the decision is made on. And enquiries arrive as WhatsApp messages late in the evening, so a form that emails a counsellor who reads it at 11am the next day is a lost admission.

Questions from institute owners

Do I really have to publish my fees on the website?

The 2024 CCPA coaching guidelines target concealment of fees and course duration, so stating them is the safer position. It is also commercially better. A parent comparing four institutes in one evening will discard the one that hides its number, because hiding it signals it is high. Publishing with instalment options converts better than any form gate.

Can I still show my toppers and rank holders?

Yes, with disclosure. State the course that student actually took, its duration, and whether it was a paid enrolment — that is what the guidance requires. Get written consent before publishing a name, photograph or rank. Done properly this reads as more credible than competitors still publishing unattributed numbers.

What does a coaching class website cost?

A single-centre site with batch pages, fee structure and demo booking starts at ₹19,999. Multi-batch institutes needing attributed results pages and per-exam landing pages are typically ₹34,999. Multi-centre chains with per-branch administration are quoted at scoping. Prices are fixed before work begins.

How long does it take to build?

Fourteen working days for a single-centre site and around twenty-one for a multi-batch institute. The variable is content: batch timings, fee tables and faculty details need to be finalised by you. We plan backwards from your admission cycle, so tell us the intake date first and we will work to it.

When in the year should we launch?

Six to eight weeks before your enquiry season opens, not during it. Coaching demand is sharply seasonal around exam and admission cycles, and a site that goes live mid-season misses the research period when parents are actually comparing. If you are already inside the window, we will prioritise the batch and fee pages and ship the rest after.

Will parents actually use an online enquiry form?

Some will, but most send a WhatsApp message, and a large share do it after 8pm when they are free. We make WhatsApp the primary route and keep a two-field form as backup. What matters more than the channel is who answers and how fast — an enquiry replied to next morning has usually already been answered by a competitor.

Ready for an admission season that converts?

Tell us your batches, your fee structure and when your intake opens. We will build backwards from the admission cycle rather than to a generic launch date.
