B2B lead generation agency measured on conversations, not clicks

This is for businesses with a defined offer, a named buyer, and someone who will actually follow up within the hour. It is not for you if you want a list of scraped contacts to cold-email, if nobody owns follow-up, or if you cannot say what a closed customer is worth — without that last number there is no way to tell a good lead from a bad one, and the engagement has no scoreboard.

What counts as a lead, agreed before we start

Hiring a B2B lead generation agency before agreeing definitions is how these engagements fail. Most lead generation disappointment is a definitions problem. The agency reports 140 leads, the sales team says they got nothing usable, and both are telling the truth — one counted form submissions, the other counted conversations with someone who could buy. We settle this in the first week by writing down what qualifies, in your words: which industries, which company sizes, which job titles, which order values.

Everything after that is measured against that definition. The number we report monthly is qualified enquiries and cost per qualified enquiry — not impressions, not clicks, not raw form fills. Where you can tell us which enquiries eventually closed, we work backwards to cost per customer, which is the only figure that actually matters.

One consequence worth stating plainly: doing this properly usually makes the headline lead count go down and the close rate go up. If you need a big number to show someone, this is the wrong service.

Where B2B enquiries actually come from

Channel mix depends on your buyer. Most engagements run two or three of these, not all six.

01

Search capture

Ranking or bidding on the specific problem phrases a buyer types when they have budget and a deadline — not broad category terms. In B2B the highest-intent searches are often long, specific and low-volume, which is exactly why they get ignored.

  • Problem-phrase targeting
  • High intent
  • Low volume, high value
02

Capability website

The pages a technical buyer needs before they will enquire: specifications, tolerances, certifications, capacity, past sector experience. B2B buyers self-qualify by reading, and a site that hides this loses them silently before any form is seen.

  • Specifications
  • Certifications
  • Capacity detail
03

RFQ & quotation flow

A request-for-quotation path that captures quantity, specification and timeline up front, so the first reply can be substantive rather than a request for more information. Cuts one full round trip out of every enquiry.

  • Spec captured up front
  • Fewer round trips
  • Faster first reply
04

IndiaMART & marketplaces

For manufacturers and industrial suppliers, marketplace enquiries are real volume but low signal. We help structure listings and, more usefully, build the qualification step that stops your team spending its day on enquiries that were never going to buy.

  • Listing structure
  • Qualification filter
  • Volume managed
05

LinkedIn

Where the buyer is a named role at a known company — procurement heads, plant managers, founders. Works for considered, higher-value services; wastes money on low-ticket or consumer-adjacent offers. We will tell you which yours is.

  • Role targeting
  • Higher ticket only
  • Honest fit check
06

CRM routing

Enquiries land in a CRM — Zoho or HubSpot's free tier is usually enough — assigned to an owner with a response deadline, not into a shared inbox where they age. Source tagged on every record so channel performance is measurable.

  • Owner assigned
  • Response SLA
  • Source tagged

Response time beats almost every other optimisation

The cheapest improvement available to most businesses is answering faster. An enquiry replied to within a few minutes reaches a buyer who is still at their desk, still comparing options, still in the moment that made them enquire. The same enquiry answered the next morning reaches someone who has already spoken to two competitors.

This is not a marketing problem and no amount of ad budget fixes it. What fixes it is an owner, a deadline, and a notification that reaches a phone rather than an inbox nobody watches. We set that up as part of the engagement, because there is no point generating enquiries into a process that lets them cool.

The second unglamorous lever is following up more than once. A large share of B2B enquiries close on the third or fourth contact, and most businesses stop after one. A defined sequence — call, WhatsApp, email, spaced over ten days — costs nothing and recovers enquiries you have already paid for.

Four weeks to a working pipeline

STEP 01

Week 1 — Define

Qualified-enquiry definition agreed in writing. Current enquiry handling audited end to end, including how long a real enquiry actually takes to get a reply today.

STEP 02

Week 2 — Instrument

CRM configured, source tagging applied, response ownership and deadline set. Enquiry forms rebuilt to capture qualifying detail without adding friction.

STEP 03

Weeks 3–4 — Generate

Chosen channels switched on. Capability content and RFQ flow published. Early enquiries reviewed one by one against the definition rather than counted.

STEP 04

Ongoing — Tighten

Monthly reporting on qualified enquiries and cost per qualified enquiry. Channels that produce volume without quality are cut rather than defended.

Where this works, and where it does not

It works for businesses selling considered, higher-value offers where a human conversation decides the sale: manufacturers and industrial suppliers, professional services, B2B software and services, equipment dealers, contract and export businesses. Deal values from around ₹50,000 upward are where the arithmetic comfortably supports paid acquisition.

It works where somebody owns follow-up and will be held to it. This is the single strongest predictor of whether the engagement succeeds — stronger than channel choice, stronger than budget.

It does not work as a substitute for a sales function. We generate and qualify enquiries; converting them is your side of the line, and no B2B lead generation agency can close on your behalf.

It does not work for scraped-list cold outreach, which we do not do — it damages sender reputation, it sits badly against consent expectations, and it produces worse outcomes than inbound anyway. If that is what you are after, we are not the right supplier. For consumer-facing local enquiry generation instead, see lead generation in Pune.

Questions before you commit

What does B2B lead generation cost?

The enquiry system setup is ₹24,999 upward as a one-off. Ongoing generation is quoted after an audit, because the honest figure depends on your channel mix and deal value — generating enquiries for a ₹5 lakh capital equipment sale is a different exercise from a ₹20,000 service. Ad spend, where used, is paid by you directly to the platform.

How long before enquiries start arriving?

Paid channels produce enquiries within two to three weeks of launch. Search-led generation takes 8 to 12 weeks to show meaningful movement, because that is simply how long Google takes to re-evaluate new and substantially changed pages. Most engagements run both, so early volume comes from paid while the organic base builds underneath.

How do you define a qualified enquiry?

You do, in week one, in writing. Which industries, which company sizes, which job titles, which order values. Everything is then measured against that definition rather than against raw form fills. This usually makes the headline lead number go down and the close rate go up, which is the intended outcome.

Do you buy or scrape contact lists?

No. Scraped-list cold outreach damages your sender reputation, sits badly against consent expectations, and performs worse than inbound. We generate enquiries from people who chose to contact you. If a purchased list is what you want, we are not the right supplier and will say so early rather than take the work.

We already get IndiaMART enquiries but most are useless. Can you help?

That is a qualification problem more than a volume problem, and it is a common one. We add a filtering step before enquiries reach your team, restructure the listing so it attracts fewer of the wrong buyers, and route what survives into a CRM with an owner. Your team then spends its day on enquiries that could actually close.

What if our sales team does not follow up?

Then the engagement will fail and we would rather establish that early. Response time is the strongest predictor of whether any of this works — an enquiry answered in minutes reaches a buyer still comparing options, one answered next morning reaches someone who has already called two competitors. We set ownership and a response deadline as part of the setup.

Can you guarantee a number of leads per month?

No, and be cautious of anyone who does. A guaranteed number is easy to hit by loosening what counts as a lead, which is exactly the outcome this whole approach exists to prevent. What we commit to is a defined qualification standard, transparent reporting against it, and cutting channels that produce volume without quality.

Want to know why enquiries are not closing?
